On November 9, 2015 Oiada Int. had done a special video conference between the students from Asbury Park Middle School and the students from Ghana.

Ghana Session 5

For this Ghana session 5 presenters from Oiada Int. gave the students of APMS a passport and created a flight simulation to Ghana. On the screen was a picture of an aerial view of Asbury Park’s Beach which made the students of APMS feel like they were actually on a plane. Once the flight simulation was over, the students from Ghana and their teachers greeted APMS students with a song of welcome. From there, the Ghana students and their teachers gave numerous presentations on their schools,u beach, kings, and queens.

After their presentations, the conference turned back to APMS. The APMS students gave numerous presentations. Their presentations consisted of an APMS student made flag representing the Blue Bishops, a special cheer from the APMS cheerleaders, the history of Asbury Park, the history of Asbury Park music, a history of New Jersey, and for fun, the Salem Witch Trials. After their presentations, the conference turned back to the students in Ghana. The students in Ghana gave another presentation. Their presentation was similar to APMS because the Ghana students also had a student made flag. This flag showed a pencil, book, and a symbol of power. The symbol of power meant that if you learned hard, you would succeed.
