Hollywood in my opinion had not been fair to Bruce Lee and something unrelated to man, a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Bruce Lee was an incredible martial artist expert. However, Hollywood did not treat him that way especially in the movie Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. In that movie they had a scene in which Bruce Lee challenged Brad Pitt’s character, Cliff Booth, to a friendly contest. True, Cliff Booth was made into some sort of Green Beret who could possibly defeat anyone. But in their friendly fight scene, Bruce Lee got the first blow by jump kicking Cliff to the ground. Then Brad Pitt’s character dared Bruce Lee to try that again. This was when Hollywood did not treat Bruce Lee fairly. In this scene Bruce Lee went for the same kick again only to be thrown into a car by Cliff. In real life, Bruce Lee was believed to not have done the same move twice during a confrontation. He was known to always have changed it up to confuse his opponent. This movie made it out that Bruce Lee was not a thinker but an over-the-top egomaniac who could perform the same move twice on an opponent. Right here alone, this scene was totally inaccurate. If you studied or read about Bruce Lee’s marital arts strategy you could gather information that he would not perform the same move twice on an opponent.

Tyrannosaurus Rex

Another unfair treatment to Bruce Lee was seen in the movie, Birth of the Dragon. In this movie Wong Jack Man, another martial artist, challenged Bruce Lee to a fight. In their fight, it appeared that Wong Jack Man pretty much dominated Bruce Lee. This in my opinion was where Hollywood once again was not fair to Bruce Lee. There were many reports which stated that Bruce Lee defeated Wong Jack Man. One of those reports came from Bruce Lee’s own wife, Linda Lee Cadwell. Since there were many more reports about Bruce Lee winning this contest, maybe the movie should had showed him dominating Wong Jack Man instead of the other way around.

The next thing Hollywood had not treated fairly was the Tyrannosaurus Rex. In both Jurassic Park 3 and Jurassic World 3, the T-Rex was killed by his or her opponent. The first, Jurassic Park 3, the T-Rex was killed by the Spinosaurus. Where Hollywood went wrong and mistreated the T-Rex unfairly was when the Spinosaurus survived the T-Rex’s bite. According to paleontologists, the strength of the T-Rex’s bite could penetrate through flesh and bone. If that was the case, in the movie Jurassic Park 3, the Spinosaurus would have been killed instantly.

Finally, in Jurassic World 3, the Giganotosaurus was victorious in killing a T-Rex. According to paleontologists, the T-rex bite would have destroyed Giganotosaurus. Therefore, the fight in the beginning of the movie should have favored the T-Rex.

Hollywood needed to treat Bruce Lee and T-Rex with some respect.
