No Need For Bear Hunt In New Jersey, Just Relocate Them

Over development in this state is driving these animals out of their natural habitat.

Howard Buffett currently is donating millions to save Rhinos in Africa from being killed. These animals are on the verge of extinction. But because of people like Buffett, Rhinos may have a chance for their species to survive.

Bears in New Jersey

The reason why I am brining up Rhinos is the fact that Black Bears in New Jersey, I feel could be following that same path. It is true that lately these animals have been wandering into neighborhoods and on occasion attack, but their environment is being destroyed.

Over development in this state is driving these animals out of their natural habitat. As a result, the bears have no place to go. Killing them is not the answer. Why does life have to be taken because of what overdevelopment is doing? If these bears are constantly hunted the way they are, this could eventually lead to their extinction.

“Look Laura that is what you call a bear” as my friend would tell his future daughter at the museum looking at a stuffed model.

Another approach

The time has come to reinvent the wheel. I do not understand why they cannot tranquilize them and bring them to a wildlife conservation area. They have to kill which is so insane. I do not get how anyone can get pleasure of killing an animal. I wouldn’t. We must remember there would not be a bear problem if there was no overdevelopment in this state. There are times where places are being overdeveloped for no reason at all and as a result the environment is suffering.

On an end note, my opinion is stop killing the bears and relocate them. Our tax payer money can be used towards developing a park for these animals. It goes to other things and at times, for some of the projects, our money goes to does not pan out.
