Authorities seek public’s help in unsolved Neptune murder

Police are seeking the public’s help for information on the murder of Devin Stout.

Devin Stout was murdered in Neptune

The 26-year-old was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, which was parked on the 1700 block of Heck Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 6, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said.

 

Stout was brought to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Stout was alone in the vehicle when he was found.

“The holiday season is upon us and we have a family who will no longer be celebrating with their loved one,” Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in the statement. “They deserve justice for the loss of their family member I cannot stress enough that as a community, we need to come together and share information that may assist our detectives in making an arrest. If you know something, we need you to please come forward.”

No arrests have been made.
