Giancarlo Esposito as Professor X?

After watching The Boys, I have to admit Giancarlo Esposito is an incredible actor. Although his character Stan Edgar has no super powers, he has power over those that do. Esposito plays his part in such a convincing way that he comes across more intimidating than the show’s I would say villain, Homelander.

Giancarlo Esposito as Professor X?

Now with that being said, what is Marvel and Disney waiting for? When will there be an X-Men movie having Giancarlo Esposito as Professor X.

Because of his great acting in Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian, and now that I saw this show, The Boys, I feel he would make an awesome Professor X. When he acts, he falls into all his characters where you do not see Giancarlo Esposito but you do see the character he is portraying. You actually believe he is that person.

The potential to bring the character to life

As Professor X, I feel he will bring something new to the character. Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy brought their own take to how Professor X should be. However, I think in my opinion Esposito will take a different approach which will leave us wanting to see more as he did with Stan Edgar in The Boys.

I know I am talking as if Esposito was picked to play Professor X. As of now this is just a rumor, but normally these kind of rumors turn out to be true. For instance, just recently Hugh Jackman was rumored to return as Wolverine for the longest time. Now that rumor turned out to be true as Hugh Jackman will play the character again in the movie Deadpool 3. I will give Hugh Jackman credit because he is older and I believe he is going to have the iconic Wolverine suit that was seen in the comic books. Time will tell.
