2017-2018 Seventh Ghana Session: LET’S ROCK!!!!

The seventh Ghana session rocked with both sides showing off musical talents at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Asbury Park, NJ.

The seventh Ghana session rocked with both sides showing off musical talents. For instance, the students in Ghana used their guitars and violins to play the Israeli National Anthem. The students in Ghana were very confident as they masterfully used their instruments to capture the heart of the Israeli National Anthem. From there, Javon King played on his trombone the theme song for the Asbury Park School District, “GO BISHOPS!” While he was playing the song, the Dream Academy from the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School chanted “GO BISHOPS,” “GO BISHOPS!”

After the display of their musical talents, this session became a meet and greet. The students from Ghana and the Dream Academy introduced themselves to each other as they talked about their hobbies, what they liked about school, and what they want to accomplish in the near future.
