Why Not Use It: NBA Finals, 300 Spartans, Hannibal’s War, Elephants, Star Wars, Alexander The Great, Michael Jordan

Why not use it I say. The other night the Cleveland Cavaliers reminded me of the 300 Spartans taking on the Persian Empire at the Battle of Thermopylae.

Here I go again. Why not use it I say. The other night the Cleveland Cavaliers reminded me of the 300 Spartans taking on the Persian Empire at the Battle of Thermopylae. For instance, LeBron James was like King Leonidas leading his 300 Spartan Warriors  going against Kevin Durant, who could be King Xerxes, and the Golden State Persian Empire Warriors. Wow what a huge mix up!   Like the Battle of Thermopylae, LeBron James had the Golden State Warriors on the run like Leonidas and his men had Xerxes and his men on the run. However, like the Battle of Thermopylae, the Golden State Warriors were too much for the Cleveland Cavaliers similar to the Spartans being overwhelmed by the Persian Empire. At the end of the Battle of Thermopylae, the Persians were successful like the Golden State Warriors with their NBA title win.

Besides the Battle of Thermopylae, the Golden State Warriors could be compared to Hannibal’s war elephants. Hannibal would use his war elephants to trample and intimidate his opponents. This was the case as the Golden State Warriors trampled the Cleveland Cavaliers for the title. With this NBA title win, the Golden State Warriors showed no mercy like the Galactic Empire showing no mercy to the rebels in the Empire Strikes Back. Even though the Golden State Warriors lost one game in the post season, if I am not mistaken, they in my opinion could still be compared to Alexander the Great’s undefeated military record. Their dominance in the final game was like Alexander the Great’s dominance in creating his own empire. What more could I say? Was this overwhelming or what?

In closing, could LeBron James be compared to Michael Jordan? LeBron James won three NBA titles, something I would never achieve, and could be compared to Alexander the Great as being a great basketball player. But as great as the legendary Michael Jordan? At this time no. In my opinion he still must win four more NBA titles to dethrone Michael Jordan.

P.S.: Michael Jordan in my opinion as of now I feel remains the greatest NBA player of all times. What do you think of all this?
