Woman In Critical Condition After Being Shot in Neptune During Fight At Large Party

A 20-year-old Neptune Township woman is in critical condition after being shot at party on Saturday authorities say.

The woman, who has not been identified, was rushed to the hospital after being shot at the VFW on Route 33 in Neptune, said Charlie Webster, spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

He said police responded to a 911 call around 12:28 am reporting a large fight at the VFW.

The victim was found on Myrtle Avenue in Asbury Park, according to police alerts.
