Sea View Manor Projects still contaminated?

Just look at the white stuff that the worker is digging up or putting into the ground. If he is protected, what about the people who live there?

Many people who have lived in the area have died from various diseases and people are still having on going problems with the pollution that is buried under the grounds. The many people that have been affected by the contaminated area want justice for their loved ones that have passed away and who have been left out of previous law suit.

The problem with the first lawsuit is that not all of the people had the opportunity to participate in the suit. And now the gas company is taking the “I don’t care” attitude about the situation.

There was a company meeting held several months ago where the focal point was about what they were going to do to clean the contaminated area. They assured that the people would be 100% protected from exposure to dangerous toxins. Geologists sat in the meeting room at Brookdale Community College and told the concerned citizens that they had nothing to worry about. Several geologists were challenged by the notion that the system to be installed would be full proof but scientific law tells us that nothing is 100% proof. Now they may be 99.9% confident that the contamination could be contained but nothing is 100% proof especially when you are dealing with water and other earthly factors. They were called out on the false statement and the geologists didn’t have an acceptable answer for the many people that were highly upset and concerned because they lived or have lived in the area.

Even when Hurricane Sandy hit the shore area, there was no way that the scientific people who work for the gas company could possibly have an answer for all the water that pushed the toxins above ground level and exposing the people in the area with more toxins.

This is the worst case scenario that people of the area feared. Many people have died from the area, even the ex NFL football star Sam Mills, who played for several professional teams. A life taken away from us too early. There are many more people who have passed from unknown causes stemming from poor environmental reasons. Many people have passed away from cancer, lupus, asthma and many more deadly diseases and someone sure has to pay. If the gas company paid once, they can do it again. They have the money and the resources to help these people.
