Peaceful rally held by Long Branch NAACP And Second Baptist Church for Trayvon Martin

On April 17th People in the community came out to continue in support of Trayvon Martin who was murdered in Florida by the neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman and to addressed the violence that exists right in their own back yard.

Long Branch, NJ – On April 17th, people in the Long Branch community held a peaceful rally in support of Trayvon Martin who was murdered in Florida by the neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman and to address the violence that exists right in their own back yard.

Second Baptist Pastor Aaron A. Gibson and the Long Branch NAACP President coordinated the event.

The peaceful rally brought out leaders in the community from Mayor Adam Snider, Long Branch Middle School Principal Donald Covin and other concerned citizens.
