Authorities seek help in solving Marques Mills murder

Marques Mills was shot on May 14, 2022 in Neptune, NJ and succumbed to his injuries May 15, 2022. He was 39 years old.

Mills was ambushed on Hillview Drive and Edgemere Road in Neptune shortly after leaving his family’s home around 11:00pm. He sustained multiple injuries and was later pronounced dead at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Before his untimely death, Mills was a certified personal fitness trainer and the owner of Plugged Inn Clothing.

He leaves behind his parents, brother, son, daughter, and a host of relatives and friends.

Information on his murder

Authorities in Monmouth County are seeking the public’s help to identify the person(s) responsible for taking Mills life.

Marques Mills Monmouth County Crime Stoppers

The prosecutor’s office released information about the victim on Monday, along with an urgent plea to the public for more information that may result in arrest(s).

According to the Monmouth County Crime Stoppers, a reward up to $5,000 is being offered for any information.
