A Young Harvey Dent In The Batman?

Not to long ago I watched The Batman. This film had Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Jeffrey Wright as Lt. James Gordon, Colin Farrell as Oz (The Penguin), and Paul Dano as The Riddler.

I found the film entertaining. However, I think the film was hiding a character. Many theories on the internet suggest that Robin was hidden within the movie. But I think otherwise. I think this movie was hiding the character of a young Harvey Dent. There was a scene in this movie that proves my point.

In the beginning of the film there was a gang of thugs with face paint similar to the Joker’s. The head of the gang kept pushing for its new member to knock out an innocent person. That new member only had half his face painted. Similar, the character Harvey Dent becomes Two-Face with half the face normal and the other half scarred. This could be foreshadowing for this new gang member who in the end decided not to punch the innocent person and also tried to prevent another member from shooting Batman during a scuffle. The new member showed traits of righteousness like Harvey Dent would. This may be possible.

Harvey Dent began as a righteous district attorney trying to clean up the streets of Gotham City. However, due to a criminal throwing acid on his face or having his face catch fire, whatever version you read or saw, Harvey Dent became a criminal known as Two-Face. Two-Face lost all sense of righteousness and took on a dark persona causing havoc to the citizens of Gotham City.  This character would fit perfectly in this Batman’s universe.
