David Allen Brown is running for a seat on the Long Branch Board of Education. Voters will decide on November 4, with Brown listed on Line 5 of the ballot.
Brown brings a wide range of community experience to his candidacy. He is a parent of two children in the district and actively participates in youth sports as a basketball and soccer coach for Long Branch Recreation.
He currently serves as president of the Long Branch Martin Luther King Guild and vice president of the Long Branch Green and White Association. Brown also holds trustee roles at White Ridge Cemetery and Second Baptist Church in Long Branch.
