Stop The Violence : Quiana Dees March (2012)

Quiana Dees March will start in front of Asbury Park Middle School.

Penny Dees lost her child 20 years ago to senseless violence. The body of her 12-year-old Quiana Dees was found in a vacant lot in Neptune Township, laying lifeless with a bullet in her head.

The next day she would die. Still no one charged with her murder.

Every year since Quiana’s murder, her mother Penny Dees organizes the march that begins at Asbury Park Middle School, stops at the lot at Washington Avenue and Fisher Avenue where the body was found, travels through West Lake Avenue, and ends at City Hall.

Penny Dees says “We will walk until we get closure”

Come out to support Ms. Dees in her quest to find justice for her daughter’s murder.

People in the community need to speak up and stop keeping their voice silent.

Quiana Dees march starts at 11am in front of Asbury Park Middle School,  Saturday May 5th.
