Long Branch, NJ – As the campaign for the next president of the United States continues, Chelsea Clinton stopped by the Jersey Shore to talk about none other than her mother.

Chelsea Clinton comes to The Jersey Shore

At the Charley’s Ocean Grill Restaurant, Clinton took aims at Donald Trump saying Americans have a “moral obligation” to stand up against the “hate speech” espoused by the presumptive Republican nominee for president.

“I never thought I would see in my lifetime the now almost normalization of hate speech coming out of the Republican primary.”

Clinton gave a 12 minute speech and then a half-hour question-answer session with the 175 voters in attendance.

Clinton noted she had no doubts about her mother’s ability to do the job and said she was the best candidate to accomplish goals in government as the next U.S. president.
