As the new school year begins, everyone can expect that Asbury Park Middle School students will be up to any challenge. These students have accomplished so many things. Because of their accomplishments many people are talking. For instance, APMS students have done numerous presentations for the veterans. Another student did a special presentation about Martin Luther King Jr. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington D.C.

One huge accomplishment was that the APMS students presented their
projects at three major museums. Those museums were the Museum in
Trenton New Jersey, Museum of Natural History in New York City, and the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. Those presentations were published in multiple issues of Prehistoric Times Magazine. Those issues were 110, 109, and 107.

Furthermore, APMS students have worked with the Superior Court of New Jersey Monmouth Vicinage “Journey to Justice Program” for three consecutive years. Through this program APMS students were given the opportunity to be a part of a mock trial. For example, students pretended to be lawyers, prosecutors, and witnesses. Because of their hard work with the “Journey to Justice Program,” the APMS participants want to major in law.

Besides the “Journey to Justice Program,” APMS students have been
recognized for their writing ability. APMS students were given awards from the Asbury Park-Wall Elks #128 Lodge for their essays on the National Anthem and What Veterans Day means to me, and published by Unheard Voices Magazine for their essays on Patriotism. That information can be seen at the following links:

In conclusion, expect only the best from the Asbury Park Middle School students. They are really great.
