Long Branch, NJ – The funeral arrangements for Joan Colbert and her foster daughter, Veronica S. Roach have been set.
First Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, located at 93 Liberty Street, Long Branch.
The funeral service will follow immediately at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Aaron N. Gibson, Sr. Officiating. Additional information can be obtained at Damiano Funeral Home
Donations may be made payable to the Damiano Funeral Home, P.O. Box 567, Long Branch, NJ 07740 to assist the families with funeral expenses.
Joan Colbert, 62, and her foster daughter 10-year-old Veronica S. Roach, were found dead in their Lippincott Avenue home by a relative on Friday August 1st. An autopsy performed by Assistant Middlesex County Medical Examiner Dr. Diane Karlik ruled both deaths were the result of homicide.
There have been no arrests made in this case.
